Our preschool classes are lots of fun!  Netmums voted them Barnet’s best preschool class, so come along and try one for yourself! See what the local paper had to say about us here

Classes are designed for children aged 2-5 and their parents/carers and have a maximum of ten children so that your child can have a really fun, hands-on cooking experience in a home kitchen.

Each workshop lasts for 1 hour during which time the children are introduced to that week's ingredient which they will cook with. The session is split into an introduction (to introduce that week's ingredients and get the kids warmed up with a song), then cooking time and finally a story/game to round things off before the kids can taste what they've made and take a little home.

The children also take home a recipe sheet and a special certificate for all the new foods they have tried, as I try to encourage them to experiment with new food and new tastes.

The cost of a session is £17 to include all ingredients, utensils, aprons and tuition as well as a well earned coffee break for parents/carers and their kids! First trial session is £17.

Sessions run:

Wednesday Thursday and Friday afternoons 1:30pm - 2:30pm

Thursday and Friday mornings 9:30 - 10:30am

Preschool classes at The Kids’ Kitchen

"We really enjoyed the class and you have amazing ideas. “

“I think you have inspired some enthusiasm in her for cooking and trying new things and for that I am  really grateful.”

“It is as much of a fab time for us mums (plus babies) as well as our little chefs. I really appreciate the great effort you put into these sessions and the amazing patience you have to help every single child have such a great time.”

"Thank you for the most fantastic group. Both J and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The way you teach the children and organise the class makes it so inspirational for them. "

“I thought your class was absolutely excellent. Thought-through, fun, welcoming, inclusive, educational and yummy (not to mention an excellent way of getting kids interested in tastes - oh and washing up!!!!). Really one of the best classes I have been too with my son and he enjoyed it immensely”

“I can vouch for this being a great way to introduce children to new foods - my obstinate child now eats carrots!”

“I was utterly happy to see my daughter try something she would not ordinarily even consider eatable on account of both main ingredients. Cheese and leek, who would have thought!”

“We are really enjoying the sessions and both learning how to cook!”

“She really enjoyed the class (as did I), you're great at interacting with the children and making the whole hour fun..”
