Adult classes at The Kids’ Kitchen
Here are some comments from previous adult courses:
“I am someone who has always taken the easy readymade route, with not much interest in cooking or baking. You have inspired me. It was a really fun interesting and informative class. You are a great teacher!”
"I have LOVED reproducing the recipes at home. I think the only one I haven't tried yet (but really want to) is the risotto cake. Everything else has worked great!"
"We had such fun making everything -
"I've since made the Tabouleh and the mushroom tartlets again and both were absolutely delicious!”
"Thanks for a very enjoyable and informative evening. I came home feeling really
inspired to do some baking again. It was lovely to see what everyone else did too
“Thank you so much for today. Really enjoyed it and loved eating all those cakes!”
“A big thank you for all your hard work last night. I really enjoyed it and found you very welcoming, professional and approachable and I went to bed last night thinking of fondant icing! Please remember me if you run any such class again as I found it such good therapy for turning off with the day to day stresses we all encounter.”
“Thanks so much for a great evening and such inspiring, delicious recipes! Looking forward to testing them out and not being afraid to do so!”
And comments from parents of our D of E students:
“He is having a brilliant time, thank you so much. I can't believe how much you are packing in to the time and how much fun they are having learning a new skill for life.”
“Your minestrone soup is absolutely delicious. I'm getting some good recipes out of this.”
“He has really enjoyed the whole thing -
“I wanted to thank you so much for the course that you did for my daughter. She really loved it and we eat very well the evenings that she was with you!”
Adult sessions can be easily tailored for a fabulous corporate away-
I also offer one-
“Once again thank you for a really enjoyable and very fun time and giving me so much more confidence in the kitchen . I have enjoyed every minute of it ! “
Lessons make a fantastic gift and I can give you a gift voucher to give to someone as a present to celebrate a special occasion, whether a birthday, anniversary, Christmas or Bat Chayil/Bar Mitzvah.
I also run “young adult” sessions which can go towards learning a new skill for the Duke of Edinburgh award. Typically we hold 6 or 7 sessions, ideally fortnightly, over a period of 3 months in small groups with “homework” between sessions to reinforce the learning. Sessions last 2 hours and cost £50 per child per session to include all ingredients, recipe booklet, homework support and of course all the food you make.
